Hello My Fellow Readers,

Something special has happen in our lives. After some really serious thinking we decide to get another dog. It has been many years since I’ve taken care of a puppy. Believe me it is a full time job. But one we have enjoyed so much. She is a long-haired Chihuahua. Her name is Carrie Ann. You can see her picture below. Since she has come into our life she has brought us so much happiness. She loves us unconditionally and greets us every morning with the best kisses in the world. It was only natural for me to include her in my up coming Christmas Story. The warm weather is upon us for sure. My daughter, Debbie and son – in- law, Shannon came over yesterday and began building us a back porch. We are so happy with what they have done. Now when we take Carrie Ann out to do her business we can sit on the porch and watch the sun come up or go down. All this building has me in the mood to redo bathrooms. My hubby said as long as he doesn’t have to do it he’s okay with it. So fun time will soon begin.

On the home front. My twin sister, Sharon is doing well. She will soon chalk up another year of being cancer free. She is once again starting up her painting. Which makes me happy. She is so talented. I have many of her pictures on my office wall and living room. Our Son, David Lee celebrated his six months kidney cancer free checkup. Both of his kidney’s are doing good. No growths. God sure answers all our prayers. This year I walked in the Relay For Life for David Lee & twin sister, Sharon in Lake City, FL. Fellow author Susan Sweet walked with me. My hubby, David and sister, Mary Lou cheered us on. (She had her knee replaced and wasn’t able to do the walk.)

I’m happy to say that we will soon be Great-Grandparents again! Charlotte & David A are expecting a little girl. This will make three for them. Mike & Tori are expecting their first child a little girl too. We look forward to holding both of these babies.

On the writing front I am hard at work on another Christmas story for the anthology. You will once again come back to Mistletoe, Tenn and meet some more of the special people who live there. It is called A Mistletoe Christmas.  I’m also doing character charts on all my characters. When I finish with the Christmas story I will continue work on my Angel Anthology called An Angel’s Touch. So I have plenty to keep me busy. Plus ‘A Father’s Hope’ will be re-released soon.
